Taiwan was incredible! The food was delicious, and we enjoyed lots of bubble tea. We visited several of the many night markets and got around the city for free using Taipei's YouBike public bike-sharing system. On the day we planned to travel to Taroko Gorge, a severe earthquake hit, causing massive rockfalls. We were lucky — we had overslept, so the trip didn’t happen. We brought back a few cans of high-quality tea leaves as souvenirs.
